Located between Eurasian and N-American tectonic plates, in the heart of Þingvellir National park (a UNESCO World Heritage site) you will find one of the world’s best-kept underwater secrets.

This is a one day tour which combines a tour of the Golden Circle’s main sights and a snowmobile ride on Langjökull glacier. Our first stop is the world’s oldest parliament, established in 930 and located in the national park of Þingvellir.

After picking you up at your hotel we take on a scenic drive along the south coast of Iceland. The tour takes you to Gígjökull glacier, which is an outlet glacier from the notorious Eyjafjallajökull glacier that erupted in 2010.

On this full day tour we head to the south coast for a glacier hike on Sólheimajökull for a glacier hike. We will visit Seljalandsfoss, a stunning waterfall that drops 60 m and originates from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier.

This day trip starts with a drive on a highland road which leads us to the Kaldidalur valley and Langjökull glacier. Once we arrive at Iceland’s second largest glacier, Langjökull, we meet up with a small group and a glacier guide and explore the ice cap from inside.

Northern lights is a common name for the Aurora Borealis (Polar Aurorae). The Northern Lights is a natural phenomenon found in the in the Northern Hemisphere. The a natural light display in the sky, predominantly seen in the high latitude regions, is a collision between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth’s atmosphere.

This tour is seasonal due to road closures or impassable conditions during the winter. Even in summer, some sites require special vehicles for access, and we have just the kind of jeep you need. Our specially modified 4×4 LandCruiser allows us to navigate these backroads, keeping us away from the crowds and giving you a true sense of adventure.

Explore the inside of a unique dormant volcano that last erupted about 4,000 years ago. The tour starts with a about 45-60 minutes/3 km hike (each way), to the crater. When you’ve reached the crater you’ll decent 120m in an open cable lift into the giant crater once filled with steaming hot lava.

The Adrenalin Adventure Park, located in the geothermal rift-valley of Nesjavellir, offers a variety of climbing routes and thrilling challenges just 1 km from our hotel. The park features three levels of climbing, a zip-line, a Quick Flight fall device, and a 12-meter high Giant Swing, with activities open from May through October.

As we approach Þórsmörk and enter the mountain roads, our first stop will be the Nauthúsagil ravine. Prepare to get your feet wet, but rest assured, it’s worth it!
